I actually searched for years to find someone who could make wooden fenders just the way I envisioned them. And when I found this guy he was already doing it! These things are a work of beautiful engineering. Each set is handmade in a variety of different sizes, finishes and with fitting kits that cater to all frames, even those without eyelets.

First choose your cut. Each cut comes in two lengths, depending on how much coverage you want and what kind of clearance you have on your bike. Prices listed are for 700c / 28″ wheels. Other sizes can be custom made.

Full offers the most coverage but also requires the most real estate on your bike.

Half is great for tight clearances like track frames, or for those who like less fuss.

Under brake is the same as full but each guard is split and a metal bracket runs under the brake mounts. Designed for tight clearances but if you still want full coverage.

Second, choose the top material from a selection of sustainably sourced wood veneers, or an eloxed aluminium.
The bottom has to be aluminium, or we can do a coloured formica if you prefer.

Next choose a width, depending on how wide your tyres are.

Finally, choose a fitting kit. If you have eyelets the stainless stays screw into those and fit on the brake bridge. If you don’t have eyelets you will receive brackets that fit over the wheel axles – both quick release and nutted – and the stays attach to those. So they should fit on any bike.

Each set is handmade to order in Germany, so expect to wait around two weeks. We can customise pretty much anything so if you want something special get in touch.
